Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what personal data is collected on tradetheprocess.com, how it is used, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

Salim Mohamed, Germany
Email: info@tradetheprocess.com

2. Waitlist and newsletter

When you join the waitlist, we collect your first name and email address. We use this data to send you free market analysis, educational content, and updates about the Trade the Process course. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email — your address is then excluded from all future mailings.

3. Email delivery and engagement tracking

Emails are sent through Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). To understand whether our emails are useful, they contain an invisible tracking pixel and click-through links: we can see whether an email was delivered, opened, or a link in it was clicked. This engagement data is stored together with your subscription. Data transferred to Resend in the USA is protected by the EU standard contractual clauses. If you do not want engagement tracking, you can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Website analytics

We use a self-hosted instance of Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to measure page visits. Umami does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and stores no personal profiles; IP addresses are not stored. The data remains on our own server in Germany. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding site usage (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. When you visit the site, technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and time of access) may be processed in server logs for security and operations. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

6. Cookies

This website sets no cookies for visitors. A session cookie is used only for the administrator login area, which is not accessible to visitors.

7. Retention

Waitlist data is stored until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Unsubscribed addresses are kept only with an “unsubscribed” status so that we do not email you again, and are deleted entirely on request.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email info@tradetheprocess.com.
